Mary (Weissert) Nicholson, 83, of Valencia died Sunday in Cranberry Township.

She was a member of the Glade Run Presbyterian Church in Cooperstown.

Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard "Rip" Nicholson; her three daughters, Judith Hemker (Rick) of Texas, Fran Skomo (Larry) of Independence Township and Jennifer Mihalyi (David) of Valencia; two brothers, Wilson P. Weissert and Paul Weissert; two sisters, Betty Sarver and Laura Rosebaugh; and four grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Weissert.
