Shirley J. Thompson Pfeil, 59, of Cranberry Township passed away Monday evening in UPMC Passavant, McCandless Township.

Born in Waukegan, Ill., Oct., 21, 1949, she was the daughter of Myrlene Clark Thompson Fox and the late Robert C. Thompson.

Mrs. Pfeil was of the Protestant faith.

She had worked in human resources for Wal-Mart and the Home Depot.

Surviving are her husband, Edward Pfeil, who she married in 1999; her mother, Myrlene Fox of Tremont, Miss.; a daughter, Tracy (Randy) St. Clair of Connoquenessing Township; a son, Terry (Michelle) Rockwell of East Butler; a sister, Carolyn Engelhart of Zion, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

<B>PFEIL</B> — Friends and relatives of Shirley J. Thompson Pfeil, who died Monday, July 27, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home.
