New teachers:• Bradley Kirkwood of Kittanning is a new physics teacher at the high school. He is a graduate of Slippery Rock University.• Lara Panseri of Monongahela is the new chemistry teacher at the high school. She is a graduate of California (Pa.) University.

What's new:• The high school has an articulation agreement with Butler County Community College• Several high school computer labs have been updated• The high school finished a paving project that included a two-year renovation of the parking facilities• The bell schedule will change slightly, but school still begins at 7:50 a.m.• Classes added at the high school include Chinese, and English PSSA preparation• Eighth grade students will be included in the high school mentoring program
