What's new:District and area law enforcement officials have been reviewing several plans to address a recent bridge closure by the state Department of Transportation that may create a number of transportation problems when school starts. PennDOT is working to replace the Hartmann Road Bridge in Jackson Township and anticipate it will be closed for the entire 2009-10 school year. Because of this, about 1,200 vehicles will enter and exit the campus each day from Little Creek Road to Seneca School Road in Harmony. This is the first full year of the Seneca Valley Cyber Service Program. Also, the district plans to unveil this fall several online changes, including a parent portal for cafeteria purchases and how to fill out informational forms via an online site. A second semester relaunching of the district Web site is also expected.
