Brian and Kristen Johnson

Kristen Karch of Butler and Brian Johnson of Renfrew were united in marriage June 16 in a Catholic ceremony in Iberostar Bavaro, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The Rev. Jean Lacaille officiated. A reception followed July 11 in Butler.

The bride is the daughter of Leonard and Elizabeth Karch of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Paul and Cheryl Johnson of Renfrew.

The honor attendant was Erin Johnson of Cranberry Township.

Performing the duties of best man was Matt Clark of Butler.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School.

The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Knoch High School.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas.
