Steelers exhibit features trophies, lots of pictures
PITTSBURGH — As an added bonus to a new exhibit opening at the Senator John Heinz History Center, all six of the Steelers' Super Bowl trophies will be on display through Aug. 30. The six Lombardi Trophies rarely travel outside the Steelers' headquarters.
In the new exhibit now open, fans will be able to get up-close-and-personal with the six-time Super Bowl champions as part of "Behind the Scenes with the Pittsburgh Steelers: Photographs by Mike Fabus."
From sideline shots of the Steelers' legendary teams to the pre-game rituals and postgame celebrations of the team's Super Bowl XL and XLIII victories, fans can get an intimate look at the players and team executives behind closed doors.
Featuring the work of team photographer Fabus, who has shot hundreds of thousands of images over his almost 30-year career, the exhibit includes more than 40 never-before-seen photographs
This exhibit runs through January 2010.
