Covenant PresbyCovenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will hold a back-to-school party from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Fellowship Hall. The party is for children of Covenant Cupboard, patrons ages 2 to 10.A panel discussion, titled "Planning for Ourselves, Our Families, and Our Church," will follow the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.Medical concerns and advance directives, wills and estates, and funeral planning will be discussed. The panel will include a nurse, an attorney and a pastor. The fellowship committee will provide a light lunch. Reservations are recommended.

New Life Christian MinistriesSenior pastor Dr. Chris Marshall will share a message on "Press On Toward the Prize — We'll Leave the LIGHT on for You!" at 10 a.m. Sunday at the worship celebration at South Butler Primary School, 328 Knoch Road, Saxonburg.A time of prayer will be held during the worship celebration for students and school personnel who will be returning to elementary and secondary school, home school or cyber school.The ministry staff will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the home of pastor of administration Pat Fecich in Saxonburg.
