FOXBURG — Tommy Reese, Mark Hack, Jim Foguth and Mike Hack — a foursome from Butler — won the 38th annual Muntz Open recently at Foxburg Country Club.
A foursome from Toronto, Canada, finished second.
This year's event was hosted by Glenn Ahrens of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Butler, who teamed with sons John, Mark and Grant in his foursome.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission is still reviewing the tape of Brian Minto's four-round technical decision over Donnell Holmes in last Friday's WBO North American heavyweight title fight at Pullman Park.The bout was stopped after Minto was bleeding profusely from what was ruled a head-butt. Holmes' camp challenged the ruling.The fight may be declared a no contest if the tape reveals the cut came from a punch.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis will be forced to vacate the record 38 victories from its Final Four season of 2007-08, according to a report by the Memphis Commercial Appeal.The newspaper, citing a source close to the situation, said on its Web site that the NCAA will release findings of its investigation into violations committed by the program Thursday.The NCAA investigated whether someone took the SAT exam for a player on that team. Memphis was notified of potential violations in January and met with the NCAA in June.
