Rekich, Kutsch
Marie Rekich and Frederick Kutsch, both of Slippery Rock, were united in marriage June 6 at St. Fidelis Church in Butler. The Rev. James Murphy officiated. A reception followed at the American Legion.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Sue Legacy and Theodore Rekich, all of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Barry and Donna Pallone and Frederick Kutsch, all of Butler.
The honor attendant was Jessica Allenberg of Springdale. Bridesmaids were Rachel Rekich and Beth Warheit, both of Butler, Tammy Cook of Grove City, Amanda Miller of McKees Rocks and Katie Nickolich of Pittsburgh. The junior bridesmaid was Keera Gilliland of Butler and the flower girl was Ava Hindman of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Brian Barkley of Butler. Ushers were Aaron Yaracs, Bill Harrison, Oscar Sasse, Johnny Williams and Michael Legacy, all of Butler. The junior groomsmen was Marcus Nawrocki of Butler and the ring bearer was Bracetin Nawrocki of Butler.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School and a 2007 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She is employed by St. Wendelin School in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Butler High School. He is employed by RMS in East Butler.
Following a honeymoon trip to Panama City, Fla., the couple is making their home in Slippery Rock.
