Bussard

Margaret Donalene Bussard, 86, of Highland Center, Brackenridge, formerly of Buffalo Township, passed away at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights, Harrison Township.

She was born Sept. 12, 1922, in Belknap to the late William Robert and Nannie Edna (Bussard) Bussard.

She lived in Belknap until moving into the Freeport area sometime in the early 1960s. She then lived in Buffalo Township until residing at the Highland Center, Brackenridge, for the last 10 years.

Margaret Donalene attended the old one-room schoolhouse formerly known as the Belknap School.

She truly enjoyed her weekly Sunday afternoon dinner and visits with her extended family at their residence in Freeport. She also loved baking and needlepoint.

She was a member of the Belknap United Church of Christ and attended the Sarver Free Methodist Church, Buffalo Township.

She is survived by her nephew, Robert J. (Diane P.) Grant of Freeport; her great-nephew, Michael (Renee) Sliviak of Sandy Lake; her great nieces, Angela (James) Zollinger of Freeport and Melody (Paul) Matthews of O'Hara Township; and her great-great-niece, Nicolette Zollinger.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Winifred R. Grant.

DAUGHERTY FUNERAL HOME</B>, 324 Fourth St., Freeport, 724-295-3100. The Rev. Robert M. Linhart Jr. will officiate. Private burial will follow in the Belknap Cemetery, Wayne Township, Armstrong County.
