Alda Blanche Cyphert Coyle, 92, a seven-year resident of New Kensington, where she lived with her daughter, Sandra, formerly of Springfield, died Monday at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Harrison Township.

Born March 15, 1917, in Kingsville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Edith Orr Cyphert.

Mrs. Coyle enjoyed baseball. Her favorite team was the Pittsburgh Pirates, and she always listened to the games on the radio or watched them on TV.

She was an avid card player. She solved the crossword puzzles in the daily paper faithfully for the past 50 years.

She was a good neighbor and friend to many people in Tarentum, Butler and the Philadelphia areas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Coyle; a brother, Morris Cyphert; and three sisters, Ruth Summerville, Cora Mae Skidmore and Maude Cyphert.

Surviving are a son, J. Bob (Mary) Coyle of Chicago; three daughters, Sandra (Dr. John) Allman of New Kensington, Karen Coyle of Springfield and J. Susie (Walter) Michalic of Hilton Head, S.C.; two grandsons, David (Robin) Gray of Allegheny Township and Jimmy (Nikki) Coyle of Seattle; four granddaughters, Lorraine Gray of Secane, Pa., Sherry (Rhett) Smith of Atlanta, Kathy (Shawn) Loebach of Bethel Park and Diana (Todd) Hirshman of Charleston, S.C.; two great-grandsons, Sawyer Smith of Atlanta and Parker Coyle of Seattle; and five great-granddaughters, Marissa Gray of Allegheny Township, Ashley Coyle of Seattle, Rylan Smith of Atlanta, and Tatum and Teagan Hirshman of Charleston. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
