BRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Education Center will host hike along its woodland paths featuring mushrooms along the way.

Western Pennsylvania Mushroom Club walk leader Ron Donlan will lead the walk that will investigate the fungi. Mushrooms will be identified while their complex role in the ecosystem also will be discussed.

GROVE CITY — The extension of a mural on South Broad Street was unveiled Tuesday night during a dedication ceremony in front of the Guthrie Theater, where the picture depicting historical moments in the town's history is painted.The mural is funded through a grant from the Pennsylvania Downtown Center and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful. The portion completed last year shows a man in a derby hat with two young boys on one side with another man and two women on the other side. Behind them, three movie posters depict historical figures and events in Grove City. The project extended the mural to almost 2,000 square feet.Last year's design featured residents and events from the 1920s to the 1940s. This year, the extension of the mural highlights the 1950s and 1960s, with events and people depicted from historic photographs.
