Eva M. Ward Shelton
Eva M. Ward Shelton, 88, of Cranberry Township died Wednesday evening at her home.
Born in Spartanburg, S.C., May 4, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Alta Petty Ward.
A homemaker, Mrs. Shelton had been a member of the Dutilh United Methodist Church in Cranberry Township.
Surviving are four daughters, Nancy Leroy and her husband, James, of Cranberry Township, with whom she made her home, Cecycle Thomas and her husband, Richard, of Virginia, Karen Shelton of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Libby Shaw, and her husband, John, of Saxonburg; a sister, Helen Alexander of South Carolina; and a brother, Clyde Ward, of South Carolina. She was the grandmother of Jonathan, Jeremy, Lisa, Kristen, Anna, Zac and Ari; and great-grandmother of Logan, Kurgan and Mia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Shelton, whom she married April 4, 1944, and who died April 2, 1999; and by one brother and four sisters.

Ward Shelton, who died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>,<B> </B>238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
