Buol

Evelyn M. Buol of Meridian passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her entire family, at 9:30 p.m. Monday in Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Aug. 30, 1924, in Butler, she was the daughter of James H. Forrester and Blanche Allen Forrester.

Her husband and devoted partner of 57 years, John R. Buol, passed way Oct. 13, 2000. Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Patricia Ann (Buol) Baker; and a grandson, Zachary Michael Osche. Five brothers and sisters also preceded her in death: Betty H. Moore, Jean Nicklas, Mary Roth, James (Tucker) Forrester and Donald Forrester.

Mrs. Buol was a member of Meridian United Presbyterian Church, where she was very active in the choir and a Sunday school teacher.

She also was very well known for her musical talent, singing in the vocal group, the "We Three Trio," in the 50s and 60s.

Her family was the center of her world. She made great french toast and was always sewing dresses and costumes for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Gregory-Steiner and her husband, Stan, of Butler, Pamela Warford and her husband, Lawrence, of Copley, Ohio, and Leslie Osche and her husband, James, of Butler. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Dawn M. Grochalski her husband, Ernie, of Butler, John L. Gregory and his wife, Tiffany of Butler, Jessica L. Gregory-Thiel and husband, Rich, of Butler, Daniel M. Warford and his wife, Kelly, of Garden City Beach, S.C., Jacqueline A. Warford of Copley, Ohio, and Joshua W. Osche and Nathan J. Osche both of Butler; and five great-grandchildren, Elijah Grochalski and Colton John Gregory of Butler, Zara Warford of Copley, Ohio, and Maddox and Kadence Warford of Garden City Beach, S.C. Also surviving is sister Ruth Forrester Sattler of Pineville, Pa.

<B>BUOL</B> — Friends of Evelyn M. Buol, who died Monday, June 29, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Patrick Maier officiating. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the United Way of Butler County, 184 Pittsburgh Road, Butler, PA 16001.Information and a private guest book are available at www.thompson-miller.com.
