Nathan Blanchard and Kristen Barnhart

An Oct. 3 wedding is being planned by Kristen Barnhart of Chicora and Nathan Blanchard of Petrolia.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Les and Virginia Barnhart of Chicora. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Patty Blanchard of Petrolia and the late Jeffrey Blanchard.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Karns City High School and a 2008 graduate of Butler County Community College.

Her fiance graduated in 2005 from Karns City High School. He is a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and is stationed at New River Air Station in Jacksonville, N.C.
