Donald C. Stacy, 75, of Green Manor Drive in Butler died Friday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 25, 1934, in Marietta, Ohio, a son of the late John F. and Hazel Fleming Stacy.

Don was a machinist for General Motors at Lordstown, Ohio, where he worked for 30 years until his retirement in 1994.

Mr. Stacy greatly enjoyed sports, including golfing and biking, and also enjoyed training and riding horses. He was a member of several horsemen's associations. He also enjoyed spending his winters in Florida and his summers at the Flying W. Ranch in Tionesta. Don loved to sing and play the guitar and formerly had his own band.

His wife, Catherine G. Osche Stacy, who he married July 20, 1992, survives him. Also surviving are three sons, Dennis E. Stacy of Murrieta, Calif., Dale R. Stacy of Beverly Hills, Calif., and Darrell W. Stacy of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; four stepchildren and their spouses, Jodi and Donny Blake of Salem, Ohio, Connie A. Beck of Pittsburgh, Robert L. and Tina Beck of Butler and David P. and Karen Beck also of Butler; five grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, Abagale, David and Justin Beck, all of Butler; and a special nephew and niece, J. R. Rumburg and Kimberly Wetzel.

<B>STACY </B>— Friends of Donald C. Stacy, who died Friday, June 26, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Funeral Services will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Seraphic Mass Association, 3600 Butler St., Pittsburgh, PA 15201.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
