8:17 p.m. Sunday — Paula Tennant, 39, of Chicora is accused if shoplifting a cart full of merchandise, valued at $321, from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Tennant is charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.5 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Sarah Wick, 26, and a sport utility vehicle driven by Jeffrey Presco, 39, both of Butler, collided at Whitestown and South Duffy roads. Police cited Wick for making an illegal left turn.
12:14 a.m. Monday — Carla Stahlman, 33, and Donald Stahlman, 35, were arrested following a domestic dispute at the couple's Lincoln Avenue home. They both are charged with simple assault.Monday — A Roadmaster brand bike was found on Grant Street. The owner can claim the bike at the police station.Sunday — A small frame child's bicycle was found in the area of Country Fair. The owner can claim the bike at the police station.12:05 a.m. Friday — A chrome, Schwinn Predator BMX style bicycle with "ape hanger-style" handle bars was stolen from outside a Harvard Street home. The bike is valued at $200.Friday — A small frame woman's bicycle was recovered at an undisclosed location in the borough. The owner can claim the bike at the police station.Thursday — A case of beer and $30 was stolen early in the morning from an unlocked sport utility vehicle in the driveway of a Barmore Avenue home.Thursday — Police charged Amanda J. Crouser, 28, Sandy Lake with hit-and-run stemming from a June 14 accident in the McDonald's parking lot on West Main Street. Police said Crouser at 7:06 p.m. backed into another vehicle, owned by Charles Kightlinger of Sandy Lake, and drove off without leaving any information.July 13 — Four baskets containing pink flowers were stolen overnight from the front sidewalk area of a Garden Avenue home. Police said three of the flower pots are brown and the other one is white.
Tuesday — Police arrested Richard Wallace Ferrance, 46, of Franklin Township, Beaver County, a convicted sex offender, for failing to abide by the state's Megan's Law.Police said Ferrance, who is employed in Harmony, Butler County, is charged with failure to comply with registration of sexual offenders requirements. He is free on $5,000 unsecured bond.Allegheny County Court records showed the defendant was convicted in 1999 of indecent assault.11:20 a.m. Monday — Melissa Sue Graham, 21, of East Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 27-year-old Hilliard man at home on Oneida Valley Road in Venango Township.Graham was arraigned in the case on charges of simple assault, harassment and possession of drug paraphernalia, and placed in Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.
