Helen Corso Menten

Helen (Cardillo) Corso Menten, 93, of Stanton Heights, Pittsburgh, died Monday.

Born July 21, 1915, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (Clemente) Cardillo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony C. Corso and the late Robert A. Menten.

She was the loving mother of Carol Ann (Alfred) Chesick of Bloomingdale, Ill., Helen Alexander of Pittsburgh, Kami (Harry) Gentithes of Warren, Ohio, and Mary Ann Menten of Warren; dear sister of Dorothy Tripoli of the South Side and Bobby Cardillo of Oakland; and loving grandmother of Carlin and Luke Chesick, George, Mia and Michael Gentithes and James, William and Christopher Alexander.

Helen was an avid golfer and enjoyed visiting with her friends.

<B>MENTEN</B> — The family of Helen (Cardillo) Corso Menten, who died Monday, June 15, 2009, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, Richland Township. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in the St. Richard Church.
