June C. Troxell
June C. Troxell, 93, of Mars, formerly of Waynesburg and Cocoa, Fla., died Tuesday afternoon at LAS/St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born in Davistown, Greene County, June 19, 1915, she was the daughter of the late James and Winnie Cumpston.
Mrs. Troxell was a nurse and had operated a beauty shop in Gibsonia. She also assisted her husband with the operations of Troxell Funeral Home in Glasgow.
Surviving are three sons, Donald Burk and his wife, Caroline, of Mars, Frank Burk and his wife, Georgetta, of Valencia and Gary Troxell, and his wife, Eileen, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a daughter, Susan Jemison of Queen Creek, Ariz. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Troxell, who died in April 1997. As the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
