Michele Linz and William Smith

An Aug. 22 wedding is being planned by Michele Linz of Meadville and William Smith of Slippery Rock.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Thomas and Marcia Linz of Meadville. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are William and Martha Smith of Slippery Rock.

The bride-elect is a 1991 graduate of Saegertown Junior-Senior High School, a 1995 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University in University Park and a 2000 graduate of Mercyhurst College. She is employed as a physical therapist assistant at Aegis Therapies in Cambridge Springs.

Her fiance graduated in 1986 from Slippery Rock High School and in 1988 from Butler County Community College. He is employed as an electronics technician at AK Steel.
