Wallace A. Kowal Jr.
Wallace A. Kowal Jr., 56, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Butler, passed away May 28 in Arizona.
He was born April 8, 1953, in Butler, the son of Martha (Slomers) Kowal of Butler and the late Wallace Kowal.
Wallace worked at Pullman until the plant closing. He then worked for Hindman Moving & Storage for 13 years.
He and his wife moved to Arizona four years ago.
He enjoyed going to car shows, working on old cars and taking scenic drives toward Superstition Mountain.
Surviving are his mother; his wife, Janis (Hindman) Kowal of Arizona, who he married Aug. 26, 1978; a daughter, Tina Walker of Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, Dave Kowal of Petrolia and Chris Kowal of Butler; two sisters, Dorothy Billman of Butler and Kathy and George Fohl of Butler; a brother, William Kowal of East Butler; a special nephew who assisted in his care, Michael Albaugh Jr.; and a number of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
<B>KOWAL</B> — A memorial service for Wallace A. Kowal Jr., who died Thursday, May 28, 2009, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W.
