Dunkel

Sherri Lynne (McFeaters) Dunkel, 42, of Butler passed away at 10:48 a.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 4, 1967, in Butler County, the daughter of the late Franklin Eugene McFeaters and Rose Linkewicz McFeaters Lee of Butler.

She attended the Unionville United Presbyterian Church.

She worked as a waitress at Eat-n-Park and Chi-Chi's. She managed the Santa's Plus stand at the Clearview Mall and was a nurse's assistant at the Lowrie House. She was a volunteer at VA Butler Healthcare.

Sherri enjoyed bowling, watching baseball, bingo, cooking, auto racing, fishing, animals, children and Christmas.

Surviving are her husband, George Edward Dunkel, who she married Aug. 8, 1986; her son, Trevor John Dunkel of Butler; her mother; her brother, Franklin Eugene McFeaters Jr. and his wife, Bobbi, of Butler; her sister, Sandra McFeaters Hodak of Butler; four nieces; and a great-niece.

She was preceded in death by her father, Franklin Eugene McFeaters.
