Clarence R. Guibert
Clarence R. "Clancy" Guibert, 82, of Mars died Monday evening at his home.
Born in Pittsburgh, March 31, 1927, he was the son of the late Edward T. and Anna Moeller Guibert.
Clancy was a retired chemist for the Callery Chemical Co. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the American Chemical Society for more than 50 years.
He was a member of the Mars Alliance Church. He was a past master and a 50-year member of John E. Mair Lodge 729 F&AM, and he also belonged to the Shrine and Consistory.He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.Surviving are his wife, Nancy Gill Guibert, whom he married Aug. 10, 1956; two daughters, Gwen Guibert-Palmer and her husband, George, of Centre Hall, Pa., and Jill Kresge and her husband, Scott, of State College; a grandson, Kyle Kresge; a sister, Lois Obrosky in Florida; and a sister-in-law, Susan Gill of Glenshaw.He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Guibert.

"Clancy" Guibert, who died Monday, June 8, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev.
