A free Family Summer Concert Series, sponsored by Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, is taking place Tuesdays at Alameda Park. The shows begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Carousel Shelter. The Thursdays in the Park Concert Series at Cranberry Rotary Amphitheater in Community Park, Cranberry Township begins at 7 p.m. Playing tonight will be Renewed Memories featuring music from the 1950s and '60s. The Musicians Concert Band, a community group that performs at Slippery Rock University, will play in concert at 7:30 p.m. today in Miller Auditorium. Concerts are also scheduled for July 23 and Aug. 6. The MCB Swing Band will join in the July 23 show. Admission to each concert is $3. Jeff Kroner is the music director.
