Ordy

LORAIN, Ohio — Tied with North Coast at 4-all after six innings, the Butler BlueSox scored one run in each of the seventh and eighth innings in a 6-4 road win in Prospect League baseball Monday afternoon.

Butler High graduate Aaron Ordy was one of four Butler hitters to tally two hits, as he singled, doubled, scored a pair of runs and drove in one.

Brian Billigen, Frank Esposito and Jack Greenberg also had two hits each.

Trent DeLazzer relieved starter Jim Podgorney in the sixth inning before pitching 2 2/3 innings and not allowing a run on one hit to earn the win. He struck out three and didn't walk a batter.

Podgorney gave up three earned runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings, striking out four and walking none.

Anthony Munoz picked up the save.

Butler (14-13) will host Slippery Rock (12-15) at 6:35 p.m. today at Pullman Park.
