Matthew Paul Martini, 16, of Evans City died Wednesday.

Born Jan. 24, 1993, in Pittsburgh, Matt was a sophomore at Seneca Valley Intermediate High School.

He is survived by his parents, Paul J. and Jacqueline (Kopchak) Martini of Evans City; a stepsister, Angela Kopchak of Sacramento, Calif; a paternal grandmother, Dolores Martini of Evans City; and a maternal grandmother, Helen Sywyj of the South Side. Matt also is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Andrew Sywyj and Joseph C. Martini.
