GIBSONIA — The 22nd annual

St. Barnabas Charities Golf Open raised a record-setting $110,258 on June 25.

Ray Gergich won the tournament's Bell Trophy.Master of ceremonies at the tournament's dinner and awards banquet was Kevin Benson of WPXI-TV. Jon Kolb, a former lineman for the Pittsburgh Steelers and four-time Super Bowl champion, was the tournament's celebrity golfer.Title co-sponsors of the golf open were C.U.E. and Highmark Blue Shield Blue Cross.The event benefits the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund, which supports poor and low-income residents at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas and The Arbors at St. Barnabas.

<B>Deborah Kelly</B> of Lamartine, Pa., received the Nancy Bohnet Award, a lifetime achievement award for years of demonstrated excellence in patient care and high ethical standards for hospice care.The award was established in memory of Nancy Bohnet, a founding member and past president of the Pennsylvania Hospice Network board of directors.Kelly has been the chief clinical officer and director of the Clarion Forest VNA Hospice for nearly 18 years. She also has served in various leadership positions on the PHN board of directors for the last ten years.Kelly just received a tenured position at Clarion University, and she is working on her a doctoral degree in nursing practice at the University of Pittsburgh.She is the daughter of Jerry and Mary Lee Kelly of Franklin Township.———The <B>Butler Rotary Club</B> held its annual Changing of the Guard dinner Monday to recognize outgoing officers and install new leaders for 2009-10.The incoming president of the Butler AM Rotary Club is <B>Cletus Scalo</B>. The other officers are <B>Ed Wadding</B>, <B>Peggy Weckerly</B>, <B>Tim McCune</B>, <B>Cindy Harbison</B>, <B>Dick Musko</B>, <B>Ron Jones</B> and <B>Clint Champagne</B>.The incoming president of the Butler Rotary Club is <B>Edie Sutton</B>, and the other officers are <B>Jim Ferguson</B>, <B>Rich Wilson</B>, <B>Jim Beck</B>, <B>Peter Richdale,</B> <B>Kate Donnelly</B>, <B>Brenda Lemmon</B>, <B>Joan Ferraro</B> and <B>Tariogh Crawford</B>.———The winners at the Butler Duplicate Bridge Club on June 18 were:First: <B>Ray Kramer</B> and <B>Lorraine Sherwin</B>Second: <B>Lorraine Worsley</B> and <B>Bob Freemon.</B>
