An Oct. 24 wedding is being planned by Ginger Lucas of Butler and Jacob Slater of Chicora.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of William Lucas and Terri Doss, both of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Ronald and Grace Slater of Chicora.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School and a 2009 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Her fiance graduated in 2003 from Butler High School.
