Shirley Ann Hilliard

Shirley Ann Hilliard, 77, of Butler died Wednesday at her home.

Born May 5, 1932, in Franklin Township, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth J. Kennedy and the late Lois Stewart Kennedy.

Mrs. Hilliard was a member of the Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Hilliard was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, gardening, needlework, her animals and especially her family.

Mrs. Hilliard is survived by one son, Randolph Bruce Hilliard of Fairbanks, Alaska; two daughters, Susan and her husband, Joseph Ragan, of Prospect and Marjorie and her husband, George Pavlinsky, of Valencia; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one brother, Robert Kennedy of Butler; and three sisters, Nancy Cricks and her husband, Rich, Mary Ragan of Florida and her twin sister, Sally Kraustok of Butler.

Mrs. Hilliard was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Hilliard, who she married March 14, 1951, and who died April 8, 1998. Also preceding her in death were one son, Harvey Kenneth Hilliard; one grandson, Joshua Davis; and one brother, Richard Kennedy.

<B>HILLIARD</B> — Friends of Shirley Ann Hilliard, who died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Merry H. Meloy of the Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the general fund of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E.
