John N. Camp Jr.
John N. Camp Jr., 90, of Parkersburg, W.Va., formerly of Butler, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.
He was born in Foxburg, Pa., a son of the late John N. and Margaret (Gibb) Camp.
He retired from Armco, now known as AK Steel, in 1981.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Parkersburg.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, having served in World War II.
He was a 33rd degree Mason and a member of Canby Lodge 520 F&AM in St. Petersburg, Pa., for more than 50 years and a member of Scottish Rite A.A.S.R. Valley of New Castle. He also was a member of American Legion Post 117 in Butler, VFW Post 15040 and a former member of the Butler Barbershoppers.
He is survived by his daughter, Johnanna "Jonnie" Camp of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna (Gerber) Camp; and brothers, James and David Camp.
