Joan J. Dugan, 70, of Cranberry Township died Monday at UPMC Cranberry Place.

Born July 9, 1938, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Edward H. and Catherine (Cochenour) Krepin.

Mrs. Dugan enjoyed reading and was a volunteer at the Cranberry Township Public Library.

She is survived by five daughters, Kim Halyak (Bill) of Memphis, Tenn., Kathi Halyak of Garland, Texas, Kelly Cardillo of Fairfax, Va., Nancy McKee of Wexford and Colleen Papst (Mike) of Evans City; two sons, Adam Halyak and C.P. Dugan Jr., both of Columbia, S.C.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Krepin of Sanibel Island, Fla.; and her good friend, Nancy Chambers of Mars.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. "Bud" Dugan, who died May 25, 2007, and her sister-in-law, Patty Krepin.
