Nelle H. Pollifrone
Nelle H. Pollifrone, 88, of Butler passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 22, 1920, in Butler, the daughter of the late Joseph and Fannie Malec Kosar.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and playing cards.
She was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are one son, Robert Pollifrone and his wife, Denise, of Erie; one daughter, Patricia DiBiccaro Soller and her husband, Richard, of Butler; two brothers, Steve and Paul Kosar, both of Butler; seven grandchildren, Michael DiBiccaro and his wife, Denise, of Crossville, Tenn., Shari DiBiccaro of Butler, Darren DiBiccaro of Butler, Christopher Pollifrone of Erie, Keith Pollifrone of Erie, Kevin Pollifrone of Erie and Carrie Fisher of Erie; 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Pollifrone, who passed away Sept. 4, 1993; five brothers, and one sister.
<B>POLLIFRONE</B> — There will be no visitation for Nelle H. Pollifrone, who died Thursday, May 14, 2009. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Everyone is asked to meet at the church.
