Garrett Herald's two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning gave West Sunbury a 9-8 victory over Prospect in Butler County American Legion baseball Tuesday night.

The win was the first in six tries for West Sunbury this season.

A four-run seventh gave Prospect an 8-7 lead before West Sunbury rallied in the bottom of the inning.

With two outs and Justin McNeish on first, Brandon Bonzo and Heath Lominski singled to load the bases before Herald delivered his double.

Mike Saper was the winning pitcher in relief and contributed two singles to a 13-hit attack. Lominski had two singles and a double, Bonzo had three singles and Brayden McCorry had a double.

Josh Weitzel had three singles and a double while Dom Neely added two singles and a double for Prospect, which had 11 hits.

Nathan Neff hit a solo home run and Dalton Steighner added a double and two singles to power East Butler to a 13-0, five-inning victory over Butler City.

A seven-run outburst in the second inning gave East Butler a 10-0 advantage.
