Betty J. Kolich

Betty J. Kolich, 63, of Queenstown, Perry Township, Armstrong County, died Wednesday at ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.

Born Sept. 11, 1945, in Kaylor, she was the daughter of Arthur D. and Margaret T. (Hickey) Rodgers.

She was the wife of the late Kit Kolich, whom she married Feb 19, 1966, and who died Dec. 14, 1987.

She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and spending as much time as possible with her grandson, Kody.

She worked at the Glass Container Corp., Parker, and at Castle Rubber in East Butler.

Mrs. Kolich was a member of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church, East Brady.

Surviving are a son, Terry L. Kolich and his fiancee, Casie Robinson, of Phillipston; a grandson, Kody Kolich of Phillipston; and two brothers, Ronald P. (Beverly) Rodgers of Masury, Ohio, and William E. (Sandy) Rodgers of Sharon. Also surviving is a special niece, Alicia E. (John) Verner of Streetsboro, Ohio.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

<B>KOLICH </B>— Friends of Betty J. Kolich, who died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Eusebius Church with the Rev. William Kuba officiating. Burial will be at St. Eusebius Cemetery, Brady Township, Clarion County.A parish prayer service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
