Betty A. Scherder
Betty A. Scherder, 85, of Allegheny Township, Parker, passed away Sunday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital following an illness.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, May 16, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Cora Frances Smith Arrow.
She was a Protestant.
Betty had been employed by the Schuman Center in Pittsburgh for a number of years as an administrative officer.
Surviving are two daughters, Jean Blauser of Parker, with whom she made her home, and Mary (Louis) Robare of Greensburg; one son, William (Tara) Scherder of Fleming, N.J.; number of grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; one sister, Martha (Charles) Allison of Warren, Ohio; one brother, Robert (Chris) Arrow of Indiana, Pa.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
<B>SCHERDER</B> — Private visitation and funeral services for Betty A. Scherder, who died Sunday, May 3, 2009, were Thursday afternoon at the <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home </B>in Eau Claire.
