Valerie E. Blizman
Valerie E. Ferianc Blizman, 64, of Callery passed away Monday morning in UPMC Passavant Cranberry Township.
Born in Pittsburgh, April 22, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Elinore Hammach Ferianc.
Mrs. Blizman was a member of the Crestview Community Church, Callery. She also worked as the administrator assistant at the church.
Val had been a beautician, having her own shop and working at St. Barnabas, Gibsonia, for 10 years.
She was a member of the Helping Hands of Callery and a member of the Harmony Women of the Moose.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph J. Blizman, whom she married July 26, 1975; a daughter, Melissa Foley of Callery; a son, Donald (Karen) Hauserman Jr. of Lucinda; two brothers, P. Michael (Bonnie) Ferianc and Blaine Ferianc, both of Butler; her stepfather, Floyd Groves of Callery; a stepdaughter, Teresa (Matt) Schmidt of Connecticut; a stepson, Joseph (Debra) Blizman of Richmond, Va.; two stepbrothers, F. David Groves of Mars and James Groves of North Carolina; five grandchildren, Kevin, Kelly and Sarah Foley and Erin and Heidi Hauserman; seven step-grandchildren; and a great-grandson, Gage.
<B>BLIZMAN</B> — Friends and relatives of Valerie E. Blizman, who died Monday, May 4, 2009, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Crestview Community Church, Callery, with the Rev. Ellen Campbell officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the church. Burial will be in the Evans City Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to Crestview Community Church, P.O.
