Butler County union workers Wednesday will vote on new contract offers.

While details of the latest offers were not disclosed, last month's arbitration award for court-related workers likely impacted negotiations.

Under the award, about 160 court-related workers will get a 2.5 percent pay hike effective July 1 and will pay a share of the health benefit costs via a 1.5 percent paycheck deduction.

Wednesday's votes affects another 340 union workers at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, the government center and courthouse.
