Nickle

Frederick W. "Fred" Nickle, 65, of Harmony passed away Saturday morning in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born in Ellwood City, Nov. 12, 1943, he was the son of Norma Double Nickle and the late Elmer W. Nickle.

Mr. Nickle was a truck driver having started with his father in Nickle Trucking of Harmony and later drove for Grant Wright Trucking.

He was a Lutheran.

In his earlier years, he was active in stock car racing sponsored by Nickle Trucking.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Kline Nickle; his mother, Norma Double Nickle of Ellwood City; two daughters, Debra (Jeffrey) Deemer of Harmony and Dayna (David) Spithaler of Butler; two sons, Fritz Nickle of Harmony and Devin Nickle of Ellwood City, son of Darlene Kelosky; one sister, Rita Getsay of Prospect; a special friend, Darlene Kelosky of Ellwood City; four grandchildren, Destiney Deemer, Clint Deemer, Jeffrey Deemer Jr. and Brittnie Spithaler.

<B>NICKLE</B> Friends and relatives of Frederick W. Nickle, who died Saturday, April 25, 2009, will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 114 W. Spring St., Zelienople. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. William Brewer, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Zelienople, officiating.
