Brewer

Dale G. Brewer, 84, of Cabot died Saturday at ACMH Hospital in Kittanning.

Born June 6, 1924, in Clinton Township, he was the son of George Wilbur and Florence Beggs Brewer.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the 7th Fleet in the Pacific theater.

He was a lifelong farmer.

He was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver and the vice president of the Center Valley Mutual Fire Insurance Co.

Surviving are his sister, Hazel Harbison of Sarver; his sister, Grace (David) Thomas of Cabot; a number of nieces and nephews; and his friend, companion and caregiver, Lillian Boarts of Kittanning.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Myrna L. (Cogley) Brewer, who died Dec. 14, 1992; a brother, Allen B. Brewer; and two sisters, Dorothy Mae Lang and one infant sister.

<B>BREWER</B> Friends of Dale G. Brewer, who died Saturday, April 25, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Fox Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Howard Greenfield and the Rev. William McCreery officiating.
