Tirza Blanche Clark

Tirza Blanche Clark, 70, a resident of Sugar Creek Rest, formerly of East Slippery Rock Road, Chicora, died at 9:35 a.m. Friday of natural causes in the emergency room at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 23, 1938, in Hooker, Campbell Hollow, Concord Township, she was the daughter of the late George Nitsche and the late Nancy Donaldson Nitsche.

Mrs. Clark was a cook at St. Jude Golf Course for 15 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Chicora.

She is survived by a daughter, Tracy Mcguire and her husband, Thomas, of Chicora; three sons, Kenneth Clark and his wife, Sara, of Chicora, Edward Clark and his wife, Diane, of Chicora, and Steven Clark and his wife, Diane, of West Sunbury; and six grandchildren, Erin, Leah, Tyler, Mariah, Colin and Emma.

She married Robert E. Clark Oct. 6, 1956, and he died April 12, 1993. She was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Clark; a sister, Mary Wolfe; and a brother, George Nitsche.

<B>CLARK</B> Friends of Tirza Blanche Clark, who died Friday, April 24, 2009, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2217 Chicora Road, Chicora. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. James Higgins, pastor, officiating.
