Madden, Duncan
An Aug. 8 wedding is being planned by Carolyn Madden and John Duncan, both of Palo Alto, Calif.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Michael and Carol May of Evans City. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Pamela Duncan of Whitecraigs, Glasgow, Scotland, and the late George Duncan.
The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Butler High School and a 1999 graduate of Duquesne University. She plans to graduate in 2011 from Carnegie Mellon University. She works for Cisco Systems in San Jose, Calif.
Her fiancé graduated in 1982 from Woodfarm High School in Glasgow, Scotland, and in 1986 from the University of Glasgow. He received degrees in 1988 from Strathclyde University in Glasgow and in 1991 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. He works for Ariba in Sunnyvale, Calif.
