PITTSBURGH — A University of Pittsburgh student who's also a volunteer firefighter will enter a special program for first-time offenders on charges he added lighter fluid to a burning couch after the Steelers' Super Bowl victory.

Twenty-two-year-old Andrew Ablog lives in the Beaver County borough of Monaca, where he's a volunteer firefighter.

Ablog isn't commenting on Thursday's plea agreement and Pitt officials aren't commenting on his status there. His arrest record will be expunged if he completes the special probation program.

Ablog was seen on an Internet video and a concerned student alerted university police.

Dozens of people were arrested for setting small fires and other vandalism after the Steelers won their sixth Super Bowl title on Feb. 1.
