Uram, Caracciolo
Katherine Uram and Joel Caracciolo were united in marriage Oct. 11 at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. The Rev. Dennis Bogda officiated. A reception followed at Greystone Fields.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Amy Uram of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Dr. Jim and Toni Skiff of Owego, N.Y., and Joel and Annette Caracciolo of Altoona.
The honor attendant was Laura Mann of Washington, D.C. Bridesmaids included Lauren Rudenko of Sewickley, Dorothea Kubacki of Pittsburgh, Michelle Uram of Woodbury, Conn., and Tessa Skiff of Owego.
Performing the duties of best man was Sam Caracciolo of Buffalo, N.Y. Ushers included Nate Skiff of Owego, Chapman Showden of Boston, Michael Uram of Woodbury and David Uram of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School and a 2006 graduate of Duquesne University. She works for the Body Shop in Monroeville.
The bridegroom graduated in 2002 from Owego Free Academy and in 2006 from Duquesne University. He works for Protiviti Consulting in Pittsburgh.
Following a honeymoon trip to Paris and Rome, the Caracciolos are making their home in Cranberry Township.
