A LIFE Butler County presentation will be given at 7 p.m. May 21 at the Christian Community Outreach building, 650 Saxonburg Road.The presentation will offer help to seniors seeking solutions for care while maintaining independence.R.S.V.P. to Summit Presbyterian Church at 724-287-2378 by May 19.

The YWCA of Butler will sponsor a bus trip to the Presque Isle Downs and Casino. The bus will depart at 7:45 a.m. May 27 from Moraine Pointe Plaza and return at 5 p.m.Cost will include bonus coupons, meal coupons and promo dollars. WASHINGTON TWP — The Community Christian Youth Center, formerly Trinity Harvest Church, will host a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 29 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 30 at the center, 1005 Annisville Road.
FREEPORT — The Freeport High School Cross-Country Boosters will hold its fourth annual 5K race at 9 a.m. May 30 on the Butler-Freeport Trail. The race will start and finish at the Buffalo Township Fire Hall.Race shirts and packets are included for all registrants.
