The 2010 Butler County Junior Miss contest will be held June 6 at the Butler County Community College Succop Theater.

WASHINGTON TWP — The Community Christian Youth Center, formerly Trinity Harvest Church, will host a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 29 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 30 at the center, 1005 Annisville Road.

FREEPORT — The Freeport High School Cross-Country Boosters will hold its fourth annual 5K race at 9 a.m. May 30 on the Butler-Freeport Trail. The race will start and finish at the Buffalo Township Fire Hall.Race shirts and packets are included for all registrants.
