SMITHFIELD — Authorities say a car went out of control on a curve and slammed into a parked car, killing two people and injuring a third. Fayette County officials say the accident occurred at 7 a.m. Saturday on Route 166.

The Fayette County Coroner's office says 43-year-old Priscilla Fowler, of Clairton, and 45-year-old Donald Sickle, of Smithfield, were pronounced dead at the scene. Mark Cordwell, 40, of Lake Lynn, was listed in critical but stable condition.
