Robert E. Wright
Robert E. Wright, 73, of Fayetteville, Pa., formerly of Butler, passed away Wednesday at his home after battling cancer.
He was born April 29, 1935, in Uniontown, the son of the late William E. Wright.
Bob retired from the engineering department of Armco Steel.
He was a member of American Legion Post 117 in Butler and also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict.
Surviving are his dear wife, Sara F. Wright of Fayetteville; two sons, Michael Wright of Butler and Anthony Wright of Chambersburg; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald E. Wright, Hobert J. Wright and William J. Wright; two sisters, Alma Eikenhorst and Patricia Wright; as well as his beloved aunt, Hilda Peck, who raised him.
Bob will be missed by all who loved and cherished him dearly.
<B>WRIGHT</B>— Family and friends of Robert E. Wright, who died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Dennis Krajacic, of Community Alliance Church, officiating.
