Many of us remember the days of the "Scent of Spring" home and garden show held every year here in Butler County. This provided a showcase for area businesses to display their products and services available to the public interested in a wide variety of professional needs from home improvement to insurance and banking. The Butler County and Zelienople / Harmony Area Chambers of Commerce decided that it was time to resurrect this show, and on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at the Atrium from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., area residents will have the opportunity to visit with many of the area's businesses and service organizations as they get ready for Spring.

If you are hungry, a delicious grilling menu will be offered by Jody's Pantry and Catering at a special Expo price. Eisler Landscaping will be offering herbs for sale, along with suggestions for improving your "curb appeal." Penn State Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions and assist with "seasonal" issues. Additional sponsors ARMSTRONG, NexTier Bank and Kennmac Rental and Sales will be on hand to welcome you and share their services and information. Admission is free and we invite you to join us for a fun filled and informative day of "Home and Garden" ideas.
