NEW CASTLE - Police made an arrest in the stabbing death of a young man killed in a fight along a rural road.

Police said Joseph Clyde McCormick, 27, of New Castle is charged with involuntary manslaughter. He was arraigned Friday and held at the Lawrence County Prison on $25,000 bond.

McCormick is charged in the March 25 death of Thomas Samuel Nail, 19, whose body was found in the woods in Shenango Township, Lawrence County.

It was not immediately clear if McCormick had a lawyer.
