Raiders slip past Rams for 10-inning victory

Megan Buletko drove home Lauren Davies with a single to right field to give the Seneca Valley softball team its first section win in a 5-4 victory over Pine-Richland in 10 innings Tuesday night.

Ashlie Kuhn picked up the win for the Raiders (2-6, 1-3), striking out seven and walking three in a complete-game effort.

Davies also had a double.

In other games:

• Slippery Rock's Morgan Robinson continued to baffle opposing batters, striking out 14 in a complete-game shutout as the Rockets (3-1) clobbered Oil City 8-0.

• Karly Kaufman collected four hits and three RBI and picked up the win in the circle as A-C Valley cruised past Keystone 11-1 in five innings.

• Brittany Berkopec collected the only hit for Mars in a 13-0 loss to West Allegheny.

• Ashley Lominski homered, singled and doubled, but her effort was not enough to overcome six Moniteau errors in a 7-4 loss to Clarion.
