Clarence G. Moorhead

Clarence G. Moorhead, 97, of the Ridgeview Boarding Home, Fenelton, died Friday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 22, 1911, in Clymer, he was the son of the late Watson D. Moorhead and the late Wilmina (Fleming) Moorhead.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Clarence was a former member of the Slippery Rock and Harrisville American Legion.

Surviving are a sister, Pauline Gasbarro of Blairsville; a brother, Edgar Moorhead of Sarver; a sister, Jane Eshbaugh of Summerville; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Dale, Paul, Glenn, Wythe and Ralph Moorhead; and a sister, Frances Stillwagon.

<B>MOORHEAD</B> — In keeping with the wishes of Clarence G. Moorhead, who died Friday, March 6, 2009, there will be no visitation or services. Interment at the Blairsville Cemetery will be private.Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.The <B>James F.
